The Beat Kitchen shares more than just a love for the craft of producing great tracks. We love to share. We have something in common... What unifies us? Skill, talent, taste... of course. But we value creativity, curiosity, and kindness. We teach with empathy and warmth. We welcome diversity in all its forms. We appreciate mastery and competence as well as the courage to take risks and make mistakes. We strive to always be learning and always be sharing. We believe that openness, talent, and taste can be taught and learned. Our ability to create is made stronger with more points-of-view. The people you see below are talented, intellectually curious, and deeply conscientious. We are continuous learners. We are experts and beginners. Some of us are misfits and dreamers. We are unified by our desire to learn and explore. We are a community of artists and innovators who want to elevate the craft of music production and change the discussion around it. If we have something in common, we seek to be your ally as you learn to produce the music you love. We hope you will get in touch! - Mark Marshall | Beat Kitchen
⨞⨞ Back Mark Marshall New York City, NY sound for picture Brooklyn-based Mark Marshall has taken his years of experience and expertise -- a bootcamp spent touring as a guitarist and recording with notable musicians in many genres -- and has dedicated his creative output to composition projects that wield instruments, tape machines, samplers, and microphones in the same way an artist uses paint, charcoal and ink. For Marshall, composition is an experimental adventure. “Sound has to evoke emotion. So the creation of sound is very much about finding exactly how to conjure that emotion.” Mark Marshall’s obsessive interest in the creation of sound to properly express and shape emotion has taken his work to new heights. Marshall’s unique approach to composition, instrument choice, recording technique, and mixing options harkens back to his refusal to fit neatly in a box, coupled with his time-tested talent and experience on the road and in the studio.

⨞⨞ Back Jamaal Taylor Los Angeles, CA beat contruction Jamaal Taylor, known by his stage name as Cy Kosis, originally hails from Queens, New York. After graduating high school and attending a more traditional university, Cy decided he would pursue a music career full time and moved to Los Angeles.Since completing audio programs in college, Cy landed his own tracks, production and engineering credits with artists such as Tory Lanez, King Lil G, AmirSaysNothing, David Heartbreak and labels such as Mad Decent, Dim Mak, Fool’s Gold and many more. His genre-defying musical style is hard to define; a breath of fresh air in an increasingly homogenous musical ecology. From Trap to Dubstep to Moombahton, to Electro-house, Cy Kosis has it covered. That’s why some of electronic music’s heavyweights such as Diplo, Gladiator and many more have given Cy Kosis a nod of approval.
